Sib,—Comitig home' from Mr Beotham's meeting atKurupuni, I was surprised to notico some of Mr Hawkin's committeemen in the company of Mr Hogg's committeemen. Apparently there was a game on of somo kind, and the two committees wore playing it, What is the game, Mr Editor ? Aro these two candidates working points on the public by pretending to opposo each other ? Is Mr Eawkius working to return Mr Hogg, or is Mr Hogg scheming to return MiHawkins. lam, &c, Anxious Inquirer.
