A general rate over (lie wholo County of three-sixteenths of a ponuy in the pound. . Separate rates in the aeveral County Ridings as follows : ■ Masterton Eidiny.—One ■ farthing in the pound. Alfredton Riding.-One halfpenny in the pound. Caafclepoinfc Riding.-Nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. Wamuiotu Riding-—Five-sixteentha of a penny in the pound. Tho above rates will be made payable in one. instalment at tho offices of the Council in MaStertou (where the rate books are open for inspection), upon the Ist day of August, 1887.
