V 'By Electric Telegraph,••CopraoHT London, 16th June.- • News'received from, official sources in Londori-leaves no "doubt that the dyriftimte faction have arranged outrages for Jubilee week. The authorities profess to have full knowledge' of tho conspiracy, to be acquainted with the names of those engaged in it, and are confident that it will be defeated. For months the movement , has been suspected, and ' prominent plotters abroard, and their probable accomplices in England, have been carefully, noted and reported to headquarters. During the same period the ports of the United Kingdom have • been watched with a view to the arrest, of suspected persons withoutprevious notice, The movements of Patrick Casey, whoisat presentin Paris, and on whose passport Dhuleep Singh recently travelled to Russia, is being olosely watched by special detectives. The actions of others who are supposed to be more dangerous conspirators than the Casey gang, arc also being closely observed. The plotters in Paris are represented as actively preparing a terrible dynamite demonstration. Recently O'Donovan Eossa complained, to the New York police of the .constant shadowing to which he was subjected by Scotland, Yard. He ridicules tho fear that the more dangerous plotters are in Now York, and says there are those elsewhere who require the attention of the j authorities,
June 17. The celebration of the Jubilee has already begun, the chief cities of tho United Kingdom taking the lead. In Glasgow, where an enthusiastic denionstsation took place yesterday, an intense spirit of loyalty was everywhere manifested. Calcutta, Juuq 16. News has been received from Afghanistan that on the . 9th instant 500 of the garrison of Herat mutined agaiust the authority of the Ameer. An engagement took place between the loyal troops and the rebels, in which,Bo of the former and 50 of the latter were killed. Seeing that -the attempted revolt was unsuccessful the mutineers fled, but were all ultimately captured, Sydney, Juno 18. The. press generally condemn the motion of Sir Henry Parkes 1 expressing the loyalty of Parliament to the Queen. .
