In this Bill due cars will be taken to proteot your interests, to onlarge' the leasing powers in the direction' 'of recent legislation for public' bodies, to provide' for the. acquisition'of thoir'land, and generally for tho more efficient management and administration of tho Trust. Of this Bill due public notics will be given, and cvory publicity given to its de- » tails. The remaining portion of town acre ; six having reverted to the Trustees, woro made by the Borough •Council .with 'a view to widening Ronall street. Terms were proposed and accepted'for tho land required, but ultimately fell through. It was said that the land was originally intended for a road a chain wide, but only' one half was used, the other boing lot until wanted, and that the records of the Trust would bear o»t this statoment, Tho minutes, however show that tho Trust originally owned aoro No. 22, and Mr Chow owned '24, that to provide communication between tho Upper Plain Road and tho main road (Queen street) acre 82 was conveyed to Mr Chew in reton for his convoying a quarter of an aoro to the Road Board for a road, and a quarter to'the-Trust, a portion of the Trust piece being 1 -shortly after let on a 21 years building base.
