CORRESPONDENCE.
[TO THE EDITOR,]
Sir,—Will-you allow me a little, space in your valuable paper to make a few-remarks as ; to the • charges for admission to the dircus and the gla'ss' blowing exliibitiori. I was astonished to find on going to the circus last night that the lowest charge was Bs. 'Now, Sir, I think that it is out of all reason to make such a charge, seeing that they only charged Is. when they •were.in Wellington, an,d I think that' would-.be quite sufficient here, This circus people must think we aro rolling in money in this district, and -that we are as rich as Croesus. I can't see why they should make thoir charges higher hero than in tho City; .and I for one would never pay three shillings to see* tho best circus. that .over! travelled. I also think that one shilling would be sufficient for the 'glass-blowing exhibition, and I am sure that it would pay them = better. Hoping that they .will'take the".hint,. ;{Lam, etc., • A Working Man,
