No material change took place until passing tho abbatoirs. when Nelson and Trident moved up, and Lochiel fell backbeaten. As '.they came into tho straight the 1 order was Satyr, Arsenal, All Gold, Impulse, Phaon, Trident, and Nelson, but at the distance Trident and Nelson headed the field, and a terrible raoo fc* homo ensued, the result being doubtful up to the last stride, Trident winning by a head, with All Gold half a length away third. The betting at the post was 8 to 1 Arsenal and Trident, 4 tol Nelson, 6 to 1 All Gold, 8 to 1 Lochiel 10 to 1 Satyr, 15 to 83 to one othei'3,
