Rumors are still floating about that the charge against Dr Connolly will be renewed, The seamen of Wellington are said to have promised £SO to assist Mr Pope with legal advice. Messrs Jellicoe and Skerrett have been engaged by Pope, who has taken a copy of the depositions for the use of the Wellington lawyers.
