Silas■ Collier, A; Terry,' and H, York, - charged with wilfully damaging a boat, the pro-, perty of complainant. Mr Knight for plaintiff, Mr Sandilands for defendant. Complainant deposed that he lost a boat from its moorings in a creek near the Ruamahunga river [below I Papawai on the 15th August last. A Maori youth gave evidence to the effect that he had used the boat since the dato complained of, and the Bench then dismissed tho case with a caution tothe boys not to use other people's property in future, Exchange no Robbeey. A Maori named Piripi Ihaka, for exchanging his old coat for a new one belonging to Mr F. Muir, during his temporary absence from his shop was sentenced to six boura imprisonment for the larceny, and ordered to pay 41s, or go to gaol for fourteen days. Civil Cases. W. C. Nation v Olliver Wakelin, claim r£6l9s, Judgment for plaintiff by default for amount claimed with costs,
D. P, Loasby, v. W.. Mitchell, claim £lB. Judgment for ainounl claimed with costs.
