Melbourne, January 5,
Messrs R. Goldsborough and Co,, held their usual weekly sale this afternoon to a crowded attendance of buyers. Competition was spirited throughout, and prices for all good wools were decidedly bettor than before Christmas Greasy merino sold up to 10|d; cross bred, to 9-kl; scoured, to IGd* 2112 bales were sold. The demand was chiefly for the Continent.
