MAURICEVILLE ATHLETIC CLUB.
. The Athletic Club Committee held their ordinary meeting was held on Thursday evening, all the members being present. Mr G. Gundersen occupied the chair... The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and the Secretary reported that two new niemberß had joined the Club. The day of the annual gathering was fixed for December 31st, 1886. A Works Committee was appointed and empowered to put the ground in good order. The following programme was submitted and adopted :->Maurioe-

Secretary up to Monday 27th December, at 8 p.m. Handicaps declared tin Wednesday, the 29th December, at Mr Gundersen's Central store ; nomination 2s Gd, acceptance 2s 6d. Resolved to call tenders for the privileges to erect refreshment and publican's booth, tenders to close in time to be considered by next meeting, which was. fixed for Saturday, 18th insfc., at 8 p.m. The members of the Ooinmittoe were requested to work the subscription lists and collect as much as possible before next meeting to enable the Committee to put some substantial prized on the programme. • The mooting then adjourned.
