WASTE LANDS BOARD.

The Crown Lands Ranger reported that improvements to the extent of £5 had beon effected on Section 28, Block V., Popuaranga, aud it was resolved to offer the lane's by auction on deferred payraont, weighted with £5, as soon as possible. Further correspondence was received in relation to the alleged partnership between Messrs Adams and Phillipson in section 2 Block IV., Kaiwhata, andaftor disoussion it was resolved to obtain all the information procurable from Hawkes Bay as to the lands hold by Mr Adamß, and the Commissioner- be instructed to take steps to turn Mr Simp, son off tho Bcction. An application was received from the Greytown Borough Council and the Waiohino River Board applied for Crown Londs north Greytown West to bo vested in them at at onco, as they had decided to pay Messrs Fuller and Gallagher the £3l compensation for imnrovenients. It was resolved. that proof be given of the payment, and a survey be made.beforo vesting the land in the local bodies, The Buard was asked by Mr T. It was moved by Mr Bunny that all papers bearing on tho resolution paucd by the Board, with referoncu to the reservo on the.wost side of the main road opposite the Pabiatua village be sent to tho Government with a request that their resolution be carried out.
