Mastbbiqn 0.0. 2nd eleven v Tradeshek's c,c. The return match between the abovo teams wa» played on the Park Oval ou Saturday, and resulted after a keonly contested game in auother win for the second eleven by four runs on tho first innings. The play does uofc need any special comment, unless the bad judcjmonfc of the batsmen is referred to, for no lessthan six " runs out" too recorded during the.afternoon. The fielding at timeß was fairly good, but the throwing in was diabolical, tho number notched for overthrows being considerable, the fielders having an idea that the ball should drop at the foot of tho wickets, instead of at the wickot keepers chest. D'Arcy shaped very well for his 18, cutting nicely along the carpet, and playing well forward, he was caught out by Minifie from a leg hit. Kibblewhifco made his debut as a wioketkeeper, and when he gets used to tho gloves will be useful close up, he saved lots of extras, (6 were leg bye 3 in tho first innings) and took the ball clean when thrown in properly. Jaokson and Manning showed stubborn defence, tho latter being very tantalising to the bowlors. Minifie played freely for his 20,1 m hitting beintf clean and low. The following are the scores:—
