An impression has got abroad that the sentence for the term of Mb natural lifo passed on Hall means something different from imprisonment for life. The Attor-ney-General states that such is not the ease, aud that the sentence moans 20 which may be reduced by good conduct. No decision has been como to yet regarding a prosecution on tho charge of poisoning Captain Cain.
