At the colonial wool auctions today 10,100 bales were catalogued, The market continues weak, Greasy merino is from Id to ljd lower than at the opening sales of the series, and crossbreds are aJd higher. 'Hie total withdrawals to date amount to 5000 bales. Paris, September 30. The Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies has, in accordance with the views of the Government greatly reduced the credits for the transportation of recidivistes, The number of these lias been limited to 300 yearly, and the Committee recommends that they be sent to Cayenne instead of New Caledonia, aa the hitter settlement is already crowded, and is difficult to supervise.
