United Press Association, ;/.-' Lonoon, September 22,", Mr Owen, the Secretary to the Colonial and Indian exhibition, has decided Joabstain from replying to the strictures, passed by the press on the manner in which the exhibition has been managed. The Commercial Exchange will meet on Friday, a motion in favor of reopening the exhibition next year will be considered. In deference to the wish of Russia, the Regency of Bulgaria has deferred tho elections in connection with the National Assembly and postponed the trial of Col. Grueff and other officers. It is improbable that Prince Alexandor will be reelected to the rulership of Bulgaria. Itis stated that no Russian candidate will bo appointed to tho vacant position unless agreeable to the other Powers, September 23rd. Great efforts have been made with a view to induce the Prince-of Walos to allow his sou, Prince Albert Victor, to, attend the jubilee exhibition in Adelaide, but without success, It is now stated that the Queen has commanded the whole of the Royal family, and those, included within the August Circle, shall remain in England during the celebration of the jubilee of Her Majesty's reign. Farther shipment the third of 1500 Russians ostensibly emigrants, but who arc supposed to be soldiers in disguise has been made from Vladivostok their destination is not known but the supposition has been pot forward that they are designed for service in connection with the reported Russian occupation of Port Lazarcff in Corea, though the Russian Press has repudiated any. intention on the part of that power lo occupy the position in question.
