PO«T CARDS. (To tub Editor,) Silt,-In your yesterday's issue, you mention that a post-card with a light attachment to preserve privacy is wainiiic iavor rapidly in France. I may mention that as early as 13th November, 1884, I suggoßtud.this to the Secretary of tho Post and Telegraph Department, and received the following reply, but as nothing further came of it, I supposo it has found a home in tho waste paper basket, ' 1 am, etc., Arthur J. Rawsok. Gonoral Post Office, Wellington, Fubuary 7,1884, Sir..-I Imvo to apologise for the delay which has occurred in acknowledging your letter of the 13th November last to this office, concerning extension of the use of the post-card by means of certain modifications thereof which you demonstrate, and I beg now to inform you that your suggestions are to receive the careful consideration of the Hon. the Post-master-General, I have, etc., W.Gray, Socretary.
