In the House of Commons to-day the debate on Mr Parnell's Irißh Land Bill was resumed, Sir W, Vernon Harcourt and Mr John Mortey sup. ported the measure, while Lord Hartington opposed it. Sir M, Hicks Beach condemned the proposal to mend what he termed " the blackmail condition of Ireland," as such a course might compel the earlier summoning of Parliament to ask that tho Executive should be invested with full powers for the suppression of disorder. A division was taken on the motion for the second reading, with the following result: Ayes, 202; noes 297.
