MAURICEVILLE ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Saturday, the 19th inst. Present—Messrs W. Jessen (Chairman), 0. Aiidorsen/H. W. Jack son, G. Gunderson, and C. Forsborg. The minutes of tho previous meoting were read and confirmed.
Correspondence.-From Pahiatua Road Board, enclosing resolution ro fulling bush three china wide on roada through Crown lands; from Rawson and Mackay, altering thoir former offer to take levels on Mauricevillo West road to £l2; from Commissioner of Crown Lands, enclosing schedule of monies accruing from detorred payment thirds Resolutions.—That at a meeting of tho Board to be held 011 October 23rd noxt a special order be made adopting the provisions of the Local Bodies, Loan Act throughout the Mauriceville Road District. That the Waste Lands Board bo written to asking permission to spend the sum of £9 2s lid on a bridle track loading to section 114, Mangaono. That the collector bo instructed to furnish at the next meeting a list of ratepayers, who have not yet paid this year's rate. That the Secretary procure all statutes required. Tho treasurer reported a credit balance oi L4l7s. Accounts amounting to Li 17s were passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned.
