It is understood that the agent of the New Zealand Government at San Fran* scispo (Mr Charles R. Buckland) has Bent a commtnication to Sir Julius Vogei, pointing out that the San Francisco mail service can bo considerably shortened,.

Ploase notify me of any change that you may make and I can telegraph, to Now York Post Office, besidos public announcements through the associated press. Mails for England should always catch' the Saturday fast steamer from flew York, if Oceanic and Union steamers arrivo hero . Sunday movning._ This will ensuro three or four days earlier delivery in London,
