PRESENTATION TO MR BRYCE.

The illuminated address, with signatures, presented by the citizens 6f ;Wallington to the Hon. John Bryce was formally handod to that gontloman on Monday last says the Press, at the Parliamentary Buildings by his tho Mayor, who was Messrs T. K. Macdonald, J. Duthie, N. Roid, E. T. Gillon, W. 0. Buohanan and several others.

The Mayor iii making the prosontation, briefly referred to tho circumstances it was intonaed to commemorate, adding that it had been bound in its preßont foritffih the hopo that it would bo handed downm Mr Bryco's family as an hoirloom perpetuating the memory of the sentiments whioh it embodiod. Th'o gentleman who had embellished the pages of the album was now no more; indeed had been buried only a few hours ngo. His signatufo waa the Isst'on the list. He hoped he might be allowed to say that he considered' this his last work a credit to his momory. Tho numbor of!sigiiaturos to the address waa 2*oo.

Mr Bryce, in reply, again thanked thoßo who had paid him this high compllmdnt, and given offect to it in such a beautiful mannor. He regarded the album as a work of art, reflecting great credit upon all connected with it, and he waa sure it would bo deeply valued by his children and his children's ohildren.
