COLD FEET.
If you have cold feet with liability to cftltcb'cold easily, it is due to a poor circulation which must.be equalised and promoted. Half an hour before retiring to bed put both feet in water for ten minutes. Take them out and immerse tbem in cold water for a second then take them out, wipe dry, and rub them until quite warm with the bare hands, followed with brisk out-of-door exercise if it can be endured. Put on a pair of cotton socks, wrung out of cold or tepid water, and draw over 'them a pair of thick lambs'wool stockings and sleep in them. Wash the feet in cold or tepid water on rising; also rub the whole body with a towel wiung out of cold water, wetting the head first; follow with plenty of friction with a dry towel and bare hands, patting or rubbing the cheat on its upper and left side and exercise a little with the dumb hells, ohest expander, or anything to make you breathe deeply and rapidly; that is, draw long and full breaths; fill your lungs clear up full at every inspiration, and empty them completely at every inspiration. Not only work the chest in breathing, but work the abdomen also. This, with a brisk, walk in the open air as soon as you are dressed, will tend to equalize and promote circulation, and also prevent you from catching cold, Newcastle Chroniole
