From the Eketaliuua Road Board stating-that a committee will wait on the Board on the 29th for adjustment #f -accounts.

From Messrs Rawson and Maekiy, requesting loan-ef district plan.—Clerk's action confirmed in declining to allow the plan out of his possession. • From Masterton Road Board re informality in Special Rate advertisement. —Resolved to await further reply from Masterton Board, ■■

From same, re resolution in reference to tho terms under whieh money was borrowed under Roads and .Bridges Construction Act,—Resolved that this Board heartily sympathise with 'the resolution passed by the Masterton Board ■ praying that the term for the repayment of loaui under the Roads and Bridges' Mstruetion Act* may be extended, andTkle interest rdducod. A special meeting of tho Alfredto# Road Board was held on tho same date for the purpose of meeting a Committee of the Ekotaliuna Eoad Board in confirming the adjustment of accounts, under Section sof the Eoad Board Act. The Eketahuna ltoad Board waa repreHenUd by Messrs JBayliss, McDonald, Nelsoa' andVince. ' v

It waa wsolved on th# motion of Mr Good, seconded by Mr Smith, That ak the conference for adjustment of account* between this Board and the Ekotahun* Eoad Board, it was found that a • liability of £4919s exiatod at the date of the constitution of the- new Districts. That this liability be borne between tho Boards ia proportion to the rateable value perty in eaoh district at the datefi the constitution of the Ekotahunflrftoad District. . '
