At the wool sales to-day. n catalogue of 1-1,000 bales was submitted. Prices throughout were firmly maintained. I Sydney, Riverin, and Adelaide scoured and greasy wools are in great demand at an advance of 2d to 3d per lb; greasy wools, low to inferior qualities, 3d to id higher; Sydney and Port Phillip wools have advanced 2d to 2£d per lb; New Zealand wools mnged about 3Jd abova prices obtained at latest sales; fin* crossbred, about Id higher. (Received 25th, lam,) Londox, 23rd. Per the Merchant Shipping Underwriters 1 Association—Arrived Opawa fro.m Napier, March 30th; Tborne from LyUlollon, March 9th; Myrtle Holm from Lyttelton, March 25th; and Plwone from Wellington, March 16th. 24th. In the Hunan of Lords yHterday, the Bill dealing with the question of duties levied upon colonial winoti was read a third time and passed. A banquet was given last night by Iho Umpire Lodge of Freemasons. Two hundred colonial metubera of the craft were present, Sir P. Cunliffa Owpn, secretary to the Royal Comminmifißiou for the Colonial and Indian Exhibition, presided at the evening's entertainment.
