The third series of colonial wool auctions was opened to day linforo a large attendance of home and foreign buyeis, The catalogue comprised 12,400 bules, for which 'good competition was manifested, chiefly ou foreign account. At the closer.of the sale .scoured wools ruled at ihreepence, greasy fully twopence, and crossbreds one halfpenny per pound higher than at tho close ol the previous auctions. The present series of sales close on tho 29th proximo.
