Sydney, 12th. , The Grand National Steepkhase meeting of Sydney Tattersall's Club took place to-day, Tho weather was tine and the attendance of the public large. The principal events resulted aB follows: Grand National Hurdle Race, two miles, Veronigue 1 Happy Thought 2 Caloola 3 Six horses started. This race was most exciting at the finish and resulted in a win for Veronigue by a neck. Time 4niin 12secs. Plying Handicap, six furlongs Keith ... 1 Solo g Toronto 3 A field cf fourteen horses faced the starter for this event, Keith beating Solo by a length, Time, Imin, Usees, Grand National Steeplechase, two miles, Studley 1 clackall 2 Student,,. ~. ~, 3
Nine horses started. Won easily by two lengths. Time 7min. ljseos. Monte Christo and Goodwood tell. Winter Stakes, mile and a quarter. Dnnion ~, J Corday 2 Euroclydon- 3 Seventy started. Dunlop won very easily by four lengths. Time 2min. 13Jsecs.
