London, Juue 11. Received 12th, 1,30 a.m.-In the House of Lords yesterday, Earl Carnarvon being questioned, admitted that while Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in July 1885 he had an interview with Mr Parnell, but denied upon that occasion he had entered into any compact or had made any offer on behalf of the Government for the establishment of an Irish Parliament. _ Disturbances in Belfast still continue. Midnight rioters were reported to be menaoing the police barracks. The military were again called into requisition, and had to charge with fixed bayonets before the crowd could be dispersed.
Mr John Morley, Chief Secretary for Ireland has arrived in Dublin. Adelaide, June 11. The following items from the Mau ritiua commercial intelligence is taken from Messrs Ireland and Fruser's monthly circular, dated May 28th. This season's' sugar crop is estimated to yield from 100,000 to 110,000 tons. The month's engagemßnts for New Zealand are—Christ church 300 tons, and Dunedin 200 tone. Freights to Australia are quoted at 15s to 17s, and to New Zealand 255, Exchange 60 days on New Zealand 11 per cent, Australia 12£ per cent. The stock of sugar on hand at the present time is 22,000 tons. The season's clearance for New Zealand is 6000 tons,

The cricket match Australians v. Cambridge University eleven, commenced at Cambridge to-day. The Austialians went first to the wicket, and succeeded in putting together 146 runs for the loss of 8 wickets London, June 7. Her Majesty the Queen has given her sanction for a dissolution of Parliament. The date for the new eleotionß has net yet been fixed. June 10,
In the House of Commons to-day, Mr Gladstone announced that business requiring immediate attention would be wound up as soon as possible, and that he hoped a dissolution of Parliament would by possible by the 26th of June. >
