CORRESPONDENCE.
WINTER EVENINGS.
(To the Editor.)
Sir—The long winter evenings are creeping on apace, and it would he nice and neighbourly if we fellow settlers m the good town of Masterton could form a club and meet every week or so for the discussion of social problems and matters affeoting our welfare a3 a community. 1 suppose a room like the Temporanco Hall could be obtained for one or two nights a week at a reasonable rent for the purpose of a discussion forum, and it would be pleasant to meet there and cultivate a .better and more neighbourly acquaintance with each other. If any of your readers agree with my. remarks, perhaps they would arrange a preliminary meeting to consider the matter. Apologising for troubling you, * lam, &c, bEITLBB.
