Previous convictions wcro proved against the prisoner for various ofl'ences, and the bench Bentoncod him to one months' imprisonment on each charge the sentenees to be cumulative, Travelling, without a ticket. Elisabeth Goodganie was charged with travelling on the Railway from Featliorston to Masterton, without paying the usual fare, contrary to the by-laws of the New Zealand Bail says, The case was proved by the Guard, and the accused was fined 10s or 7 days imprisonment.
