MUNICIPAL FIRE BRIGADE.
A meeting of the Municipal Fire Brigade was .held in the Brigade Station last evening. Captain Barker presided, there being also present Secretary Fjtton, LieutenaufcPickering,! Foreman Broom, Branohman Whitt andCreelman, Station./ keeper Hoare' and twelve other members, The roll showed that twenty had already joined tho Brigade under Captain Barker, Rules for, tho guidance of the Brigade wore read, discussed, and adopted. The first Tuesday in each month was filed for the regular practice, at 7,30 p.m, it was decided that a fine of Is be imposed for non-attendance at the monthly practices, That .each member contribute Is per month towards a Briirado Accident Fund, and that the office of Treasurer be combined with the Secretaryship. Two intending members were proposed, who will have to be balloted for at tho next general meeting. It w»s suggested that a code of By-laws be drawn up and submitted to the next mooting. The meeting then adjourned.
