The hop crops in the country districts are said to have suffered very much from the high wind on Monday. Christchurch, this day. At the adjourned inquest on the body of Mrs Scott no further evidence was adduced, and a verdict of death from natural causes was returned. Gisborne, this day. The Manapouri patients are all out of danger, and some ot them will leave here on the first opportunity.
