A SATISFACTORY CONTRACT.
To the Editor Sib,—As ratepayers to No, 8 Ward Wairarapa East Coast, we consider it but due to the contractor of Maoa East Coast road, Mr McLoughlin, who has just completed his contract, to give publicity to the very satisfactory manner in'which the work has been executed, and in considerably under the specified time. We have not seen any report from the Engineers on Mr work, but we ourselves are thoroughly satisfied with the efficient manner in wjuch'the road has been made, and, as'fresh (errors have now beengalled for. an extension of the satne \ve,' sincerely hope Mr MaLoughlinmaybe the successful tenderer for the new contract.
