Tho Samoan representatives loft for Auckland this evening; and intend taking passage for Samoa per the 'Frisco mail steamer, which leaves Auckland on Tues day next, This morning the Samoan chiefs repeiyed a letter from His Excellency the Cfnyernov at Christchurch in which he acknowledges the.receipt qf a communication from the delegates in which they submit proposals for the annexation of Samoa to New Zealand, Sir WiHiam Jervois also mentions in the letterthat he had transmitted to the British Imperial authorities the representions made to him by the Samoans at the recent interview in Wellington, and he gives ,the assurance that immediately on receipt of oioial despatches he will communicate with the Samoan principals. -The New Zealand Loan Agents in London publish a notice in to-night's London Gazette to pay off the four and a-half cent Ave thirties (nearly three millions) on tho first of August. Holders,are to have the, option of receiving one hundred and one of four per cent instead of cash for each hundred.
