John Beel v Wallace Smith.—Allowing entire animal to stray. Defendant pleaded guilty, but said that the fence got accidentally broken, and the animal escaped without his knowledge, joined Is without costs, Const, T, Smith vJameß McMielty,— Allowing a horse and trap to stand in the street unattended, Defendant pleaded guilty, but in .extenuation pointed out that all the butchers and bakers did the same. Fined Is, and 9s costs. Same v William fliteman. Using insulting language in a public place. Defendant pleaded guilty, but did not recollect what occurred, as he was under the influence of liquor. Fined 20a, and 9s costs. Another caso of a similar nature against tho defendant was withdrawn by consent of the court, There were no.civil oases for hearing.
