FEATHERSTON TOWN BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Featherston Town Board was held on Monday evening, Present—MessrsG. Reynolds (Chairman) J. Donald, Oakly, W. Cundy, and W. Hoddor.
.Theininutesof the previous meeting were read and confirmed,
The following accounts were passed for payment-Keys, £lss; Beel, £2l2s lid; Bloxliara, $5 83; Standard, £1; Band £5. A letter was received from the Secretary of the Featherston Highway Board sendr ing a cheque for £lO, ' The Ranger's report and 7s were handed in. Mr Cundy's notice of motion that a sum £1.5 be given to tho Wairarapa Hospital and Featherston Library, was brought forward and carried unanimously. The clerk was instructed f.q call for tenders for the use of a horse and a dray when required by the Board, also for' the leasing of Dorset Square for one year,; It was resolved that notice' be given to' the occupier of section 163 to fence, :
