CORRESPONDENCE.
To the Editor. Sir.-—I am sorry to see in the Daily of yesterday, that Mr Beetham has accepted the version of your Eketahuna. correspondent in believing that Mr Stout told the people of Eketahuna that but for the motion pf Captain Russell, something would havo been done on, the Eketahuna section of the line this year! As one that heard all that was publicly spoken by Mr Stout at Eketahuna, I am certain , lie did not say that any voto of the Parliament last session prevented the Government from calling for tenders to continue the line, to Eketahuna. By inserting the above in your paper at your convenience you will oblige. 1 am, etc., Alexander Anderson. Eketahuna, Dec. 10,1885.
