The races will be run under the Wairarapa Jockey Club rules, when not contrary to these regulations. Tho saddling bell will ring at 11,30, and the first race starts tit 12 sharp. . No entry will be received, except oh condition that all disputes shall be left to the decision of a. majority of tho Stewards present, or .those whom they may appoint j their decision on all points rriuat be accepted as final. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined : ■. All protests must be made in writing anil lodged with the Secretary, with a doposit of £l, within fifteen minutes after tho race, tho deposit to be forfeited if the Stewards consider the protest frivolous ai vexatious. Owners are particularly requested to observ that to avoid being fined, notice of scratchings must bo liaudod to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start. A hack horse is one in actual use as a hack and which has never run for any other than hack races. Entries and acceptances must be made in writing and addressed to the Secretary of the F.R.0., Fcatherstou, accompanied by tho necessary fees with name, pedigree, ago and colorof horse and (in cases of handicap, tho previous performances) also colors to be worn by riders, The Starter has the power to place fractious or kicking horses and disobedient jockeys in any position he thinks necessary to secure a fair start, and fines for disobedience will be strictly Unforced. •Nominations for Handicaps will close at the Royal Hotel, Fcatherstou, on Tuesday, the Ist day of December, at 8.30 p.m. Weights ivill bo declared on Monday, 14th December, at 8.30 p.m. Acceptances for Handicaps to be made on Monday, 21st December, at 8.30 p.m. The winner of an advertised race of L7o or over, after the declaration of weights, to cany 51b extra in the F.
