AN ECCENTRIC CLERGYMAN.
The Rev Mr Hangmore, of Catshage, Leicestershire, was a singular character. Hisservants heard him call for assistance, but being locked up they could not aid him. He had 30 guns, 100 pairs of breeches, 400 pairs of shoes, 80 wigs (yet always wore his own hair), 58 dogs, 80 waggons and carts, 80' ploughs (and used nonijJ, ,56 saddles anc} furnjturij fqp tie ymagi, w wheelbarrows, so many walking sticks that a toyman in Leicester .offered £8 for them, GO horses and mares, 200 pickaxes, 200 spades and shovels, 74 ladders, and 249 razors,
