A DOMESTIC TRAGEDY.

Howden, Warwick county, Ind, is' the scene of a domestic tragedy aa complete, if not as sanguinary, as any portrayed in early English or in antique Greek poetry. Three weeks ago Miss Emma Snell, a cousin of Mrs Rogers, a pretty school teacher from the rural districts of the Delaware County, came to spend her summer vacation with the Rogors family, fler coquettish manner and vivaciousness found the way to Mr John Rogers' heart, and the staid country merchant lost his head and his heart to his guest. Finally Mrs Rogers ordered Miss Snell to pack her bag and baggage and leave. Rogers, who overheard the conversation, Entered and struck his wife to the then, in company with hisi wH left the house, going to his store, naffil mile distant, and did not return till evening, when they found the house deserted. Rogers found his wife face' downwards in the water-trough back of the barn. In the barn were found the bodies of the two children lying side by side, each with a gaping wound in its head. A bloody axe lying beside them told truly of the horrible deed. off to summon a coronor, and dsm return, Miss Snell, astonishing as it may appear, is reported as feeling quite uncomfortable oyer the extensive ruin she has wrought.
