GREYTOWN-WEDNESDAY.

James Haxton was charged, on the information of Constable Joseph Eecleton, with having in the month of September last, feloniously stolon and carried away two sheep skins, the pronely Qf Mr Benjamin Kiniherleyj of the' value of six shillings. The defendant ploaded guilty, and in defence said he took the skins off some dead sheep, not thinking they were of much value. . The Bench convicted the prisoner, and sentenced .him to one month's hard labor in the Wellington Gaol. >
