The Morning Post advooates the separation of Northern and Southern Queensland. Mr Finch Hatton, one of the members for South Lincolnshire in the House of Commons, who recently visited the Australian Colonies, has asserted that the statesmen of Queensland have been robbing the Colony for the purpose of fllling'their own pockets! ': .■ The funeral service of the Earl of Shaftesbury was solemnised to-day at Westminster Abbey, but the interment took place at Dorset.
