MURDER ATDUNEDIN.

No arrests are yet made', Later, Mrs Georgina Butler, whose death fprixjs the subject of an enquiry this afternoon, was pyep SQ ygara of age, and known to-be of intemperate habitg, lived in a three-roomed cottage in South Dunedin with her daughter (aged between 25 and 30), and the latter's two children. The daughter is Mrs Edward Brown, and was a witness in the notorious Wain case, Her husband is at present at Asliburton, On Saturday morning Mrs Brown alarmed the neighborhood with the intelligence that she found her mothor dead in bed. The woman, was disoovered lying dressed upon a small stretcher bed quite dead. The post mortem showed that the skull was fractured, apparently by a blow from a blunt instrument, and there were other wounds about the head, hands etc. Mrs Brown states she left her mother and retired to bed at 9 o'clock on Friday evening, and did not see her again until, she discovered her dead body.; .The two women were drinking beer -on Friday evening, but the daughter did not see any visitors at the place. No arrests have yet been made.
