THE HUTT TARRING CASE.
COMMITTAL OF WALDEN. • (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) L Wellington, September 30. The Hutt tarring case was continued this afternoon. James Smith, proprieter of the Post Office Hotel, was recalled, and said McLelland was something like the man who accompanied Walden when the latter visited the Hotel on the night of the 19th of August. Annie Guillaume, barmaid at the Royal Hotel, was called, and swore that on tho morning of the 20th August acoused called at the Hotel, and asked witness for a camellia, Accused told witness that he had some camellias which he had picked in Buckley's garden on the preceding night. .It ivas not on the2sth July when she saw Walden, Witness had no com 1 - munication wich Muir with reference to] the subject, and did not remember having talked over the matter with Mr H. S. i Fitzherbert,
