At three o'clock this morning a fire broke out in a cottage situated in Sydney street, owned by Miss Clark, and occupied by Mrs Lahmati and her two children. The fire broke out in the upper storey, which was completely gutted before the flames were got under, Wellington, this day. The prosecution in the tarring case at the Hutfc intend calling three more witnesses,
Fielding, this day. A man named Andrew Thompson was killed at Awalmri on Saturday by a branch of a tree falling on him, A verdict of accidental death was' returned at the inquest held on the body.
