Danks & Son, Wellington, and a Ist class special prize and special mention for coppersmith's work to A, & T. Burt, Dunedin. Tinware and japanned ware—W. P. Cameron, Wellington, Ist; T. Garland, Wellington, 2nd; B. J. i Footlieadj Wellington, 3rd, Class L, comprising pold and silversmith's work, jewelry, "and embroidery in gold and silver. Judges—Messrs Geo, Denton, J. P. Ahlgren, P. P, Grady, J.' King, Telfer, and C, H. Williams. S. Kohn, Wellington, Ist prize for jewelry ; workmanship excellent; especial notice taken of emerald and diamond brooch and opal and diamond bracelet (no competition); also Ist prize for exhibits in silver, Marcus Sandstein, Ohristchurch, 2nd prize for silver coffee pot made to complete a set of English manufacture.'
