WHERE WERE THE POLICE?
[To the Editor] Sir, —How is it that the police are never present when they are wanted? On Saturday night there were seveial rowdies in the pit of the Theatre who required their attention, and it was only with difficulty that order was maintained. I ask, where were the police ?
