Meiboubne, September 4. The Victorian Government has requested Admiral Tryon commanding the Australian station, to despatch a man-of-war to the Auckland Islands to search for the passengers and crew of the ship North American, which sailed from Melbourne for England in Februaiy last, and which has not since been heard of.
