Bill, and Shipping' and Seamans Bill, and Fisheries Encouragement Bill, were read a second time, _ The Life Assurance Policies Bill, trad iTuakitoto and Kaitangata Lakes Bill were read a third time, the former being and progress was reported in the latter. The Westlimd and Grey Education Board Bill, and River Boards Bill were read a second time. Progress was reported on the Rating sll, The Council adjourned at 5 p.m.
