Vienna, August 12. Sir Henry Drummond Wolff arrived here to-day, en route for Constantinople, London, August 13.. In both Houses of Parliament last night votes of thanks were unanimously passed to the British forces engaged in the Egyptian campaign for their services. In the House of Lords, the principal speeches were made by the Marguis of Salisbury, Duke -of Cambridge, the Earl of Huntingdon, and Lord Carington; and in the House of Commons by Sir Michael Hicks Beach, Chancellor of the Exchequer, all of whom lauded the gallantry of the New South Wales Contingent, and,assorted that the loyalty shown by the British Colonies was adding now strength to the Empire, The departure of Lord Carington, the new Governor of New South Wales, has beon definitely fixed for December 30th, It is stated that Major Ohirnside is under orders to proceed to Massowah to act in concert with the Abyssinian forces in taking steps to relieve Kassala. .
