Lents which have been undertaken b
our Committee wero arranged with the approval of gentlemen representing evory part of the Valley, and that no reasons are given why arrangements which have been fairly successful, which have involved
a large amount of toil and anxiety for a number of years, and which are in every way adequate to meet all the requirements of the *Wairarapa for many years to come,
should be at once abandoned, Wo fully recognise that an important, auxiliary work may bo done by a Farmers' Club, and wo cordially wish your Club the most complete success. there can hardly bo two opinions .is to the fact that one Agricultural and Pastoral Society is as ; much as can be maintained with advan-
tage to the community at present, and for some years to come, and there are surely many very strong reasons, that being the case, why the present Society should continue to receive the cordial and united support of tho whole district.—l am &c., Wm.
