New York, June 30. The young woman Yseult Dudley, who has been arraigned on a charge of attemptin!? to murder O'Donovan Rossa on February 2nd last, has been aquitted, the jury finding a verdict in her favor on the ground of insanity.

London, June 30. At to-day's wool sales, 9900 bales were offered to a dull market. The fourth series of colonial wool auctions wilbopen September 1.

Melbourne, July 1. The examination of the Simpson's-road Bank robbers was concluded yesterday, when the prisoners were all committed for trial at the July criminal sessions, bail being refused.

London, July 1. The cricket match, Oxford v. Cambridge, was concluded at Lords to-day, and resulted in a victory for Cambridge by seven wickets,

Berlin, July 1. It is announced that Admiral Werner has been appointed Governor of tho German possessions in New Guinea. Melbourne, July 1. Tho Victorian yearly revenue returns are published to-day. The total revenue for the twelve months ending June 30th is £6,290,000, being an increase oh the 'proceeding year of £356,000. It exceeded the Treasurer's estimates by £326,000. Adelaide, July 1. The South Australian revenue returns give the total revenue for tho past year as £2,150,000, or £271,000 below the estimated amount. The Premier, Mr Downer, announced that the deficiency of revenue below expenditure was £256,000, and the actual deficit at the end of the financial year £700,000,
